Gambier Primary starts Sandals Foundation Good Behavior Club

March 2018, Nassau, Bahamas: Youngsters at Gambier Primary School got a treat from Sandals Royal Bahamian team members last week when they arrived with 200 toys at the school. The “Christmas in Spring” toy giving is an extension of last year’s birthday bag club that was started by the Sandals Foundation at the Sandals adopted primary school. Each student who performs notably well or shows improvement, will be gifted a toy. Children with birthdays during the academic year will also receive a toy of their choice.

Rosemary Knowles, Principal of Gambier Primary commented, “I was pleasantly surprised when Sandals called and said they have a large delivery of toys for the kids. This is my first school year working with Sandals and they continue to foster their relationship with our school. It’s great to see the excitement on the children’s faces when the Sandals team members drop by. Every child will get to enjoy the gifts so we are looking forward to giving them out.”

Over the Christmas holiday, Sandals also delivered 150 toys and edible treats to the school, with the General Manager and team members dressed as Christmas characters, which was also made possible by the Sandals Foundation.
