Diane Phillips & Associates is an award-winning boutique public relations firm in The Bahamas which specializes in working with a select group of clients to:

The company has been in business in The Bahamas for more than 30 years. Clients include Bahamian banks, luxury resorts in the Family Islands, several real estate companies, an award-winning $200 million development, local and international medical facilities, a global cruise line, environmental NGO’s, a national feeding organization, major corporations and individuals of international reputation.  In addition to assisting in taking companies public, DP&A designs and provides copy as requested for annual reports.

Approximately 20 percent of all the firm’s efforts, time and services are devoted to pro bono work.

DP&A and its president, Diane Phillips, have won numerous awards for creative excellence and service to community including being a two-time ADDY Award winner.

Diane Phillips has been a reporter, writer and editor in a career that has spanned more than four decades. Her travel pieces, features, boating stories and columns have appeared in numerous papers and magazines around the world including The New York Times, Modern Bride, Motor Boating & Sailing, Stern, and Southern Boating. She was a former executive director of the Bahamas Duty Free Promotion Board and the first director of the Nassau Tourism & Development Board. In both positions, she was an activist promoting the development and improvement of the tourism product urging legislative, training and infra-structural improvements and was able to marry her writing skills with the needs of the boards to promote their goals and ideals.

Phillips is active in several professional, charitable and civic organizations and served on two boards appointed by the Prime Minister, the former Nassau Economic Development Commission and the Ministry of Finance Special Projects Committee for Historic Properties. She is the former co-chair of the Historic Nassau Study Committee of the Nassau Tourism Development Board and is a former director of the Bahamas Humane Society, Safe Bahamas and a member of the Zonta Club of Nassau. Phillips is currently the chairman of the Montagu Foreshore Steering Committee.
